Hi, I'm Zia! I spent my childhood frustrated that my hair never looked like everyone else's. It was puffy, never neat, yet it wasn't straight or curly. The solution always seemed to be to brush my hair which only ever made it worse! I spent years damaging my hair with heat trying to love it. In my late 20's I finally stopped using heat and started trying to understand my hair and how to take care of it. I shared my whole hair journey on social media over the last 2 years, and realised that so many of us had grown up like this. We were all just desperately trying to figure out how to tame our manes! Now, as a mum of 2, I felt compelled to try and make sure the next generation has a chance to grow up understanding how fun their "in-between" hair can be!
